SendX 1.5 is a macro sender/editor for OS-9/6809 systems on the Tandy/Radio Shack Color Computer 3. I originally uploaded a copy to RTSI OS9 Archive long ago, but that file became corrupted. This copy was recovered from an old personal DSK and verified in VCC. Screenshots show the working program in VCC.

“SendX 1.5 is a CoCo 3 OS-9 macro sender/editor from 1995, rescued from an original DSK and verified running in VCC; unrelated to the modern SendX marketing product.”

You would add text strings into slots and when choosen it would jump to the window you choose and paste the string.
This was before bookmark managers. I used it on Delphi BBS to send long strings and for sending urls to a terminal. I also used it to send text strings to my Abus SC-149 which controlled what I called a Roboplotter.

SendX archive notes

sendx is my original OS-9 Level II program.

The standalone sendx file is byte-for-byte identical to both copies stored on
sendx.dsk:

  /sendx
  /CMDS/sendx

Program details:
  Name: sendx
  Edition: 29
  Size: 9,486 bytes
  Module CRC: $4C76E4

sendx.dsk is a bootable OS-9 disk image used to run and preserve sendx under VCC.
It was based on the OS-9 Level II disk image named:

  os9l2v030002cc_DS40_0 - Copy (2).dsk

The OS-9 system files are not my original work. I added my sendx program and
working files to the disk. The included screenshots show sendx running and
being identified successfully under OS-9.
